Now that 2014 draws to a close, I decided to look back on all the things I've done and places I've been this last 12 months and post my personal 20 favorite images I've taken. It has been a pretty good year as I've visited 5 countries not including a layover in Australia.

How to Pay the (Late) Electric Bill in Phuket

I'm writing this guide as well as this one in the hopes that someone new to Thailand (or Asia in general) might find them helpful. When I first arrived over here I could have definitely used some tips.

So, when we came back from our visa run to Malaysia the other day we found our electric bill shoved under the door. It was now late and on top of that the 7-11 wouldn't allow us to pay it (as we usually do). Their system and the Thai electric company had set up a new service that wasn't live yet. What a problem!!
